WEEK 7: WHAT IS A SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS?

Dear all What is a successful business? Define what a successful business is for you and browse the Internet to find opinions of people talking about successful business, or the contrary. WEEK 6: CONNECTIONS

Dear all In WEEK 6 we've been studying phrasal verbs, particularly those ones related to telephoning, and we've been reviewing letter writing, two different ways of connecting with people. Write a letter to a friend telling him/her, among other things, what you are doing to improve your English when you are not in class. Use phrasal verbs in your letter. Look for links on the Internet showing how to write correct letters and publish those links in your blog. Add any other thing you have done this week to improve and consolidate your English.

WEEK 5: DREAM JOBS????

Dear all In Week 5 we have been dealing with our dream jobs but, what would happen if our work was our worst nightmare? Write a text describing your worst job. Upload pictures if you find them, or a drawing on your own of that particular job. Ask your grandparents or any ther relative over 65 about job conditions when they where young and discuss pros and cons. And remember, tell us all you have done this week to improve and learn English 😀😀😀😀

WEEK 4: IF I WERE YOU...

Dear all In Week 4 we've been practising how to ask for and give advice , and the main types of advice we can find. Browse the net and find out a text in which advices are involved. This can come from another blog, a newspaper, a journal website, etc. Underline/highlight the expressions related to advice. Look for another text where modal verbs appear and analyse the modal verbs explaining the specific meaning they have in the context of the sentence they are used. Note down in your blog entry all the activities you have done in the last 4 weeks to improve your English, apart from attending English language classes and working with the blog (upload pictures of these activities if possible). Examples of these activities could be the following:                               - Talking with native speakers in a specific situation/place,...                               - Reading something in English                               - Watching films in the original sc
